I enjoy words and yet I am a visual learner. I am a hands-on learner. I have taken multiple of grammar classes and read books for those classes. During my shiatsu training I had to memorize all of the correct terminology. And yet I do not remember how to do a grammar correctly, I am a horrible word crime gal that still wants to play in this world of writing because I love sharing stories. I may not remember the names of the muscles of nerves but my hands knows where to go on a client’s body to help heal say their arm or foot or emotions.
I also know that the above paragraph needs to be edited so that it is written clear but I want to emphasize my point that I might not write good now but I edit, and edit and edit… I am writing. I am sharing. I am being happy with my imperfect self and glad to be sharing.
The first website I built on my own, with out my partner’s help, who has his own website business, was a free google site. It was a place I showed my art but it felt to amateurs. I also realized I want to write and share my thoughts as well. I played with some of the free templates allowed to be used on word press and yet they still didn’t feel right. I also got stuck on a few minor details, while I was first learning how to use word press. That was when I asked for help. The first thing he suggested was to go a wordpress template site to purchase a template that similar to my vision. There are thousands of payed templates as well. Luckily my muse caught the eye of this template after looking at five or so templates before hand and not hundreds.
My muse loved the forest images used as examples. I realized that not only do I want to share my art and writing I also needed nature within the site. Nature is one way I get inspired, like most people walking on a path by an ocean or by some trees can be refreshing and healing. I needed to see images behind the words for me to feel comforted. I hope, readers feel the same when they come and explore my site.
This site was not just a place to share my writing but all of my creative world. My muse speaks to me in so many different ways.
** So this is the second time I wrote this post as I messed up when I was trying to add an image. It didn’t fit into the background having too many pixels. Lost all of the words and had to rewrite. One lesson I know was suggested to me was to not write just in the post page but somewhere else so that words will not get lost. My theory is if they were suppose to be read everything would be fine. Always listening to my muse. I also guess what I wrote the first time was more for me rather than for the world to see.**
